RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2025 : Rajasthan Administrative Services
RPSC RAS Exam Model 2024: Rajasthan Public Service Commission has published the notification for Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS), responsible for recruiting eligible candidates to Rajasthan State Services (RSS) and Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS).
The latest exam pattern and syllabus must be studied by candidates. This will allow candidates to properly prepare for the RPSC RAS 2024 exam. Examining the RPSC RAS Exam and Selection Process.
The RPSC RAS examination pattern consists a three stage selection procedure. Prelims (first stage), Mains (second stage) and Interview. The preliminary exam is an objective examination consisting of general and general sciences, while the mains is a descriptive examination. The mains exam will consist of 4 papers, and candidates are required to attempt all four papers.
RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2025 for Prelims
Preliminary examinations are of an objective nature and will cover subjects like literature, tradition and culture, art, the history of Rajasthan and its heritage, Indian history (ancient, medieval, and modern), geography (Indian and global geography), Indian political system and constitution, governance and governance etc. The prelims examination is a qualifying stage and marks obtained in this exam are not included in the final merit list. - The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- Each incorrect answer will receive a negative mark of 1/3.

Exam Pattern for Mains
Candidates who pass the prelims are eligible to take the mains. The number of candidates is calculated by multiplying 15 times the total number of vacancies.
- Candidates who pass the prelims will be eligible for the mains exam.
- All four papers must be completed.
- The main examination marks will be used to prepare the merit list.

RPSC Mains Exam Pattern: Paper 1
Questions on the history and economy are included in the RPSC RAS Mains paper 1. The RPSC RAS Mains GS 1 will have 200 marks. Paper 1 is divided in three parts, Part A, B, and C. Each part has 25, 16, and 7 questions. The Paper 1 exam pattern is shown in the table below.

RPSC RAS Interview
