JEE Main City Allotment slip OUT National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main City Allotment slip for Session 1! The official website of the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2025 (JEE Main) Session 1, jeemain.nta.nic.in, allows candidates to check the city in which they will be taking the exam. This slip gives candidates important information about their exam centers location. Below is the direct link for candidates to download and check the JEE Main City Allotment Slip 2025.
JEE Main Exam City Intimation Slip 2025 : How to Download
Check your exam city by following these steps –
- Visit the official site: jeemain.nta.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link ‘JEE 2025 Session 1, City Allotment Slip.’
- Enter the application number, the date of birth and the pin that appears on screen.
- To view the details of your city’s allotment, click ‘Submit.’
- Print and download the City Allotment Slip for future use.
Candidates should be aware that the city allocation slip is NOT an admit card. Admit cards for JEE Main Session 1 2025 will be released separately.
Session 1 Date and Timings
The NTA announced an updated schedule of the JEE Main Session 1 exam. This will be held in multiple shifts at the following dates.

Paper 1 is for candidates who have completed B.E./B. Aspirants to the tech sector.
Paper 2A is meant for B. Arch and Paper 2B for B. Aspirants to the planning profession.
The candidates can now check and download the Examination City Intimation slip using their application number and date of birth. This slip gives candidates advance information on the city in which the examination Center is located, so they can make travel arrangements.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025
JEE Main Test Pattern 2025- National Testing Agency released the revised JEE Main exam pattern 2025 on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The notification states that the optional questions from Section B for Papers 1 and 2 have been removed, making all five of the questions in this section mandatory. Exam pattern contains information on marking scheme, exam mode, duration and question types. Total marks for JEE Main are 300. The JEE main exam is scheduled to be conducted in two sessions – January and April of 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the 2025 JEE Main exam in session 1 from January 22, 23, 24,28, 29, 30 and 30 2025. Session 2 will take place between April 1 and 8, 2025.

The JEE Main exam 2025 for B.E/B. Tech will now have 75 questions covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics totaling 300 marks. The new Tech section will have 75 questions totaling 300 points, covering Physics and Chemistry. Each section will have 25 mandatory questions, 20 multiple-choice (MCQ) questions and 5 numerical value (NVQ) questions. There are no optional questions. Paper 1 (BE/B. Paper 1 & 2 : NTA JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025
On the official website, the authority has revised the exam pattern for JEE Main 2025. The format of the new paper is similar to that used in pre-pandemic exams. Candidates preparing to take the NTA JEE Main session 1 should be familiar with the JEE Mains paper pattern. According to JEE Main 2025 notification on exam pattern changes, Section A will have 20 Multiple Choice Questions per subject. Section B, however, will only contain 5 Numerical Type questions with no Optional questions. Each paper lasts three hours. In Section A, incorrect answers will result in negative marks. The candidate must answer the five questions of the NVT in Section B. Revised Exam Pattern for JEE Main Paper 2

NTA JEE Mains Paper Pattern: Types Of Questions
According to the IIT JEE pattern, every subject will be divided into two sections. The Section A exam will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions. Section B contains questions whose answer is to be entered as a numeric value. According to the JEE Main exam pattern for 2025, section B will contain five compulsory questions. According to the JEE main exam pattern change, there will be no optional question. Both Section A and B will have negative markings. The candidate must enter the correct integer answer for each Section B question using the virtual numeric keypad on the screen. The answer for Section B should be rounded to the nearest integer.
