Exam Pattern
XAT 2025 took place on Sunday, 5 January 2025. Candidates can access the answer key by using their login credentials such as XAT ID or Date of Birth. The exam consisted of two sections- Part I and II. Part 1 included sections such as Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making (DM), Quantitative Aptitude and data Interpretation (QA & DI), and General Knowledge (GK) in Part 2.

The GK section does not have a negative mark and it is not included in the percentile when the selection process is being considered.
How is the XAT 2025 score calculated?
After students have understood what the XAT Score is they are curious about how to calculate the XAT scores. The XAT score is calculated based on how many correct and incorrect answers there are. Follow the steps below to learn how the XAT is calculated.
The applicant receives 1 mark for each correct answer.
Every incorrect answer is deducted 0.25 points from your total score.
After 8 questions, students can skip up to 10 questions. After 8 questions, 0.10 marks is deducted per question not attempted.
The raw scores are calculated separately for each section.
Add these sectional scores to the total score for XAT.

How is the XAT percentile calculated?
In the case of XAT, the raw score is different than the XAT percentage. The XAT raw score is distinct from the XAT percentage. The XAT percentage is not directly proportional with the score. However, a small increase in raw score could lead to a large jump in percentile. This would increase your chances of being selected for MBA programs at desired B-Schools.
