Exam Pattern 2025
There are 125 questions altogether in the UP TGT PGT Exam, which consists of both TGT and PGT questions. The test does not have any negative marking. The UP TGT PGT Exam is an offline, paper-pen-based test. For the positions of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in different schools throughout the state of Uttar Pradesh, the UP TGT PGT test is administered.

Marks Weightage
Both the written exam and the interview phases are included in the UP TGT PGT Marks Weightage 2025. The written test is worth 425 marks (85% weightage) for the PGT position, the interview is for 50 marks (10%), and special qualifications are worth 25 points (5% weightage). The written exam is worth 500 marks (100% weightage) for the TGT position, and neither interview scores nor additional credentials are taken into account. Both tests have a total score of 500, with the PGT exam having a 500-point breakdown.
