SECL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Eligibility

- Graduate and diploma engineers (3 years post-10th or 2 years post-12th with lateral entry) are eligible, provided their education was completed through regular (full-time) programs.
- The AICTE permits lateral entry into the second year of diploma courses for candidates who have completed 10+2, subject to specific conditions, and diploma programs should span 3-4 years following the 10th grade.
- Candidates must not have undergone previous apprenticeship training or possess more than one year of work experience in any establishment.
Selection Process
Candidates will be chosen based on their qualifications, specifically by comparing the dates of graduation degree or diploma completion. In the event of a tie, the following criteria will be applied:
- The results of the 12th or 10th examinations and the candidates’ dates of birth will be considered.
- Two separate seniority lists will be created: Level-1 for candidates from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, and Level-2 for candidates from other states, with a preference for those from the Western Region.
- The provisional list is expected to be published on the official SECL website during the third week of February 2025.
Candidates who are provisionally selected will be required to undergo document verification and a medical examination. The medical certificate must be issued by a government hospital and signed and stamped by an assistant civil surgeon. Document verification is scheduled to commence on 3rd March 2025, and candidates must present original documents, including certificates, mark sheets, caste certificates, and Aadhaar-linked bank details.
