The first stage of CBT will be a screening test to select candidates for the next round. 1. Computer Based Test 1:

The purpose of this stage is to assess the candidates’ general knowledge, reasoning abilities, and mathematics skills.

General awareness (GA)

  • Current affairs: Sports, national and international events and awards.
  • General knowledge: Abbreviations and names of famous people, national and international organizations.
  • Geography: Continents, countries, capitals, rivers, mountains, etc.
  • History Ancient, medieval and modern Indian history.
  • Indian Politics: Constitution. Parliament. judiciary. Elections.
  • Economics Basic concepts: national income, budgeting and monetary policy.
  • Science includes general science, physics, chemistry, and biology.
  • Environment & Ecology : Sustainable development and environmental issues.

Mathematics

  • Number System: Simplification, percentage, ratio & proportion, profit & loss.
  • Algebra : Linear equations and quadratic equations.
  • Arithmetic : Work and time, pipes and cisterns, and speed and distance.
  • Geometry : Circles and triangles.
  • Trigonometry : Basic identities and height and distance
  • Data Interpretation: Bar graphs, pie charts, tables, etc.
  • Measuration: Surface areas, volume, and area of basic shapes.

General Intelligence and Reasoning

  • Verbal Reasoning : Analogies and classification, series, coding decoding, and directional sense.
  • Non Verbal Reasoning Mirror images, embedded Figures, and Pattern Folding.
  • Logical Reasoning : Statements, conclusions, syllogisms, blood relationships, and puzzles.
  • Mathematical reasoning: number series, time series and logical successions.
  • Data Sufficient: Finding enough data to answer questions.

2. Computer Based Test (CBT) 2:

This stage is used to assess your understanding of specific topics, particularly those that are relevant to the job you’re applying for.

General awareness (GA)

  • The same as CBT 1, but with questions that are more in-depth and advanced, relating to current affairs, static knowledge, and general Knowledge.

Mathematics

  • CBT2 covers CBT1 in greater detail, with an emphasis on problem-solving skills and applied mathematics.
