Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, from an accredited university or institution. The candidate will need to show proof. That they have completed the degree program in order to be eligible for the Main Competitive Examination.
Candidate must be at least 21 years old but not older than 37 on the 1st of January 2025.
Selection Process: Punjab pcs notification 2025
The selection process consists of a written and oral main examination. The preliminary examination will be composed of two 200-mark papers with objective (multiple choice) questions. The Preliminary Combined Competitive Examination-2025 will be tentatively scheduled in April 2025. The exact date of the Preliminary Examination will be announced later.

Only Ex-Servicemen, People with Disabilities (PWD), and Lineal Descendants Of Ex-Servicemans (LDESM) from Punjab State will be charged Rs500/. The application fee for Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes in all states and the Backward Classes only of Punjab State is Rs750/. All other categories are required to pay Rs1500/. Punjab PCS Exam Pattern 2025
It is important that candidates familiarize themselves with the Punjab PCS Exam pattern 2025. This includes the topics, and other details. Candidates will do better in the exam if they understand the new PPSC Exam Pattern and the sections covered. Success is achieved by scoring well on all phases of the exam, including the Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.
The Punjab PCS Mains exam pattern is divided into two parts: General Studies (GS) and Civil Services Aptitude Tests (CSAT). General Studies consists of 100 questions with 2 marks each, while CSAT is 80 questions with 2.5 marks each, for a total 200 marks.

Punjab PCS Mains Exam Pattern 2025
The Punjab PCS Mains examination has seven papers. Punjabi and English, each worth 100 marks, are mandatory. Essay (150 points) and General Studies Papers I, II III and IV each have 250 marks. Candidates who pass the main exam will be invited to an interview. The interview is worth 150 marks.

Punjab PCS Interview 2025
Punjab PCS interviews are of paramount importance to the selection process. Candidates are invited to the interview stage after passing the Main and Preliminary exams. Only three candidates per vacancy will be selected to attend the interview.

This round is important, as it accounts for 150 marks. Candidates are required to demonstrate their knowledge, communication abilities, and overall suitability. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 45 % in the interview to be considered eligible for an appointment.
