PM Awas Yojana Good news has come for 5955 people in Gopalganj. These people are going to get houses under the PM Awas Yojana. Out of these, houses of 4306 beneficiaries have been approved at the administrative level. Each beneficiary will be provided an amount of Rs 1.20 lakh in three installments. So far, 1479 people have received the first installment amount.
PM Awas Yojana : Know how many people will get housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?
In the current financial year, 5955 people will get housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Out of these, the housing of 4306 beneficiaries has been approved at the administrative level. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 1.20 lakh will be made available to each beneficiary in three installments. Under the scheme, the work of providing the first installment amount to 1,479 people has been completed.
According to the information, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), beneficiaries are provided their own housing. After the selection of 5,955 beneficiaries in all 14 blocks of the district in the year 2024-25, the work of geo tagging is being completed rapidly. So far, the work of geo tagging of 4,522 beneficiaries has been completed. Apart from this, approval has been given for housing construction to provide the amount of first installment to 4,309 beneficiaries. With the approval order, the way has been cleared for sending the amount to the account of the concerned beneficiaries.
PM Awas Yojana : An amount of 1.20 lakh will be available under the scheme
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, like the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, an amount of Rs. 1.20 lakh will be made available to the beneficiaries. In this scheme too, provision has been made to provide an amount of Rs. 40,000 in three installments.
Under this, there is a plan to provide the second installment in case of construction of the house at the foundation level and the third installment when the construction is completed up to the lintel. Under this scheme, provision has also been made for construction of toilets along with the construction of houses. Separate amount is given for this.

In Kuchaykot, maximum 231 beneficiaries received the first installment amount
According to the data of the Rural Development Department, in the current financial year, till now the first installment amount has been provided to 1,469 beneficiaries in the district for housing. Out of these, the first installment amount has been sent to the accounts of the maximum 231 beneficiaries. The data shows that the first installment amount has been sent to the accounts of the minimum 33 beneficiaries in Panchdevri block of the district.

How much amount is given under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?
Under this scheme, financial assistance is given to poor and homeless people living in rural areas to build houses. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 1,20,000 is given in plain areas and ₹ 1,30,000 in hilly areas.
