The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 syllabus is designed to evaluate the teaching ability and subject knowledge for candidates aspiring to be teachers in Odisha. The syllabus is divided in two papers, Paper I for candidates who intend to teach classes I-V and Paper II for those who plan to teach classes VI-VIII. The two papers include subjects such as Child Development and Pedagogy (Paper I), Language I (Odia), Language II(English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies (Paper II), while Paper I also includes Mathematical and Social Studies or Science. The syllabus focuses on understanding child psychology and educational theories as well as practical teaching methods to ensure candidates are prepared for effective teaching.

OTET Exam Pattern 2025

The BSE Odisha Odisha TET Exam Pattern 2025 differs between the Primary and Upper primary classes. The OTET Exam is two and a half hours long for each paper. We will share some important information about OTET Exam Pattern & Syllabus.

The OTET will consist of two papers, Paper I and Paper II.

The total duration of each test shall not exceed 2 1/2 hours.

The questions are multiple choice (MCQ) with four options, one of which is the correct answer. Each question carries one mark.
