The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Mode.
The medium of examination will be English and Odia.
It consists of 2 Papers, Paper 1 for Odia and English Language and Paper 2 for General Studies.
Paper 1 consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
Paper 2 consists of 200 questions for 200 marks.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
120 minutes will be provided to complete the Paper and 180 minutes will be provided for Paper 2.

Physical Standard Test
The Physical Standard Test will be determined by the category of candidates. Candidates belonging to the General or SEBC categories will have a height of 168cm, a weight of 55kg, and a chest measurement of either 79cm without expansion, or 84cm when expanded. Female candidates who belong to SEBC and General will be 155 cm tall and weigh 47.5 kg.

Physical Fitness Test
Candidates who pass the written exam will then be required to take the Physical Standard Test.
Candidates who are selected as sub-inspectors in the Odisha Police Department receive a salary between Rs.
