NIFT Registration 2025 Ends Today, Register Now Before Closing Date
As per the official notification released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), registration for the NIFT Entrance Test 2025 will close today, January 6, 2025. Candidates who want to apply for the test can visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. Applications submitted between January 7 and 9 will have to pay an additional late fee of Rs 5,000.
The NIFT entrance test will take place on February 9, Candidates can edit their application forms from January 10 through January 12.

Eligibility Criteria for NIFT 2025
Educational Qualification
NIFT has a wide range of programs with their own educational requirements.
- To be eligible for B.Des or B.F.Tech, candidates must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent exam from an accredited institution or board.
- To enroll in M.Des or M.F.Tech, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any field to be eligible for M.F.M.
Age Limit

- Maximum Age for Bachelor’s Programs: As of August 1, 2025, the maximum age limit for B.Des or B.F.Tech is 23 years. SC, ST and PwD applicants get a five-year relaxation.
- No upper age limit on Master’s programs: The M.Des, M.F.Tech and M.F.M are not subject to an upper age limit.

Exam Pattern for NIFT 2025
On the official website nift.ac.in, the NIFT 2025 Exam Pattern will be available alongside the brochure. The information will include the type of question, exam duration, mode and other pertinent details. The NIFT 2025 entry exam will have two sections, namely the Creative Ability Test and General Ability Test. The NIFT CAT test for 2025 will be administered in pen-and-paper mode. However, the GAT will be conducted using computer-based testing (CBT).
