Maharashtra’s government announced recently the Diwali Bonus for 2024 as part of the Ladki Bhin Yojana. Maharashtra’s “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin” scheme aims to improve women’s health and nutrition and reinforce their role as mothers within the family.

The Women and Child Development Department of Maharashtra launched the “Mukhyamantri Mahhi Ladki Bhin Yojana”, an innovative initiative to empower women economically and socially. The scheme is aimed at women aged 21-65 years old, and aims to improve their health and nutrition while also enhancing their economic independence. The scheme aims to create a supportive environment by enhancing women’s role in the family. Women who qualify will receive a financial aid of Rs 1,500 via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This financial aid will be used to meet immediate needs and promote long-term growth in the socio-economic sector. The program demonstrates the commitment of the government to empower women and ensure their active participation in social progress.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must reside in Maharashtra. The age of the applicant should be between 21 and 65. Please select the appropriate criteria. Aadhaar must be linked with the bank account of the applicant.

Divorced Woman
Abandoned and Destitute Women
One Unmarried Woman in the family

Ladki Bahin Yojana: Disqualifications

The applicant who fails to meet the eligibility criteria will not be eligible for any payments. Here are some exclusions.

The family’s combined annual income exceeds Rs 2,50,000/-
The family member is a taxpayer.
Women who received financial assistance from other government departments receive Rs 1,500 per month.
The family member has been a MP/MLA in the past or present.
The family member is the Chairman/Vice-Chairman/Director/Member of the Board/Corporation/Undertaking of the Government of India or State Government.
The four-wheeler is registered under the family member’s name.

Mukhyamantri Ladki Bhin Yojana is open to all eligible and interested females. The online process is divided into two sections, namely, the registration process and the application process. Follow the steps below to register online

Click on the “Applicant Login”.
Then click “Create an Account.”
Fill in the form with the details below:
Full Name according to Aadhaar; Mobile Number, Confirmed Password; District, Taluka/Village, Municipal
Corporation/ Council, Authorised person & Acceptance.
Terms and Conditions

Enter the OTP received when you click on the Sign-up button.
You will receive a confirmation message after clicking “Verify OTP”.
Log in with the registration number and password you received.
Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha when you click on “Application for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana”.

Fill out the registration form by clicking “Valid Aadhaar”.
Include the name of the applicant, the bank details and the permanent address.
Upload the relevant documents, such as an Aadhaar Card, Domicile Certificate, Ration Card, etc.
You will receive an SMS with your application ID when you click “Submit”.

Domicile Certificate from Maharshtra. (If you do not have the Domicile Certificate, then any of the following documents can be used: a ration or voter card that was issued prior to 15 years of age, a birth record, or a certificate of school completion.
Income Certificate Required (Not needed if woman has Yellow or Orange Ration Card).
Marriage Certificate. If your name isn’t listed on your Ration Card, but you are newlyweds, the Ration Card of your husband can be used to prove your income.
