What is IIM CAP ?
IIM CAP in its full form is the Indian Institute for Management’s Common Application Process (CAP), which is a single-window process for selecting candidates to be used for MBA applicants for the eight best IIM institutions within India. Candidates applying to IIM’s IIM’s admission process in 2025 will be selected based on their CAT score 2024 and an essay Ability Test (WAT) as well as a personal Interview (PI). The final selection is based on several factors, such as academic records along work experiences.
However, the new IIMs are CAP-based. In these IIM Cap 2025, the process of selecting the participants in the IIMs is standard. It is conducted in conjunction with one of eight IIMs in rotation. IIM CAP Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to participate in an IIM screening process for the CAP have to meet eligibility requirements for the CAP selection process . This IIM CAP eligibility requirements can be found by following:
Minimum 50 per cent or more in aggregate graduation (45 per cent for reserved Category candidates).
To be considered to be considered for the selection process, applicants must also meet the CAT qualifying cutoffs set by the IIM college CAP.
The WAT-PI selection process can be determined by the cutoff for CAT 2024, which could be greater than the cutoff for qualifying.

Candidates seeking admission to the top MBA schools that accept CAT scores should be present at the CAP 2025 counselling session. Be prepared with the following documents prior to filling out the IIM CAP application form:
