  • Balvaatika (Pre-school) Classes: Balvaatika-1, Balvaatika-2, and Balvaatika-3.

KVS Admission 2025-26 Form Filling Process

  • First login to kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
  • Create a new account with email, mobile number and password. Verify the details with OTP.
  • Click on “New Admission”: Open the admission form.
  • Fill in the child’s personal details, such as name, date of birth, gender and category (General, SC, ST, OBC etc.).

    Caste Certificate (if required)
    Residence Certificate
    The system will calculate the age of a child using the date of their birth.
  • After submission, you will receive a confirmation message on the registered email and mobile.

Age Eligibility Rules

Age eligibility is very important for admission in KVS. Not having the correct age may lead to rejection of the application. Below are the age criteria for different classes:

Admission Process for Class 1 and Balvatika

Class 1
Children aged 6 to 8 years can apply for admission in Class 1. The required documents are:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Residence Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Balvatika
  • Balvatika is divided into three groups:
  • Balvatika-1: 3 to 4 years
  • Balvatika-2: 4 to 5 years
  • Balvatika-3: 5 to 6 years

KVS Lottery System

KVS selects candidates using the lottery system after the submission of the application form. This system ensures fairness and transparency. The first list of selected students is published after the lottery. This list can be seen on the official website of KV or on the school’s notice board.
