What makes a good B-School apart from infra is its faculty. Everything at HBS was superb. I really enjoyed my college life and it was a very good experience. HBS beams with activities round the year. All in all, a great place to be part of.
Great college with wonderful mentors. Practical knowledge and focused study towards the goals are very important in Management. These I definitely got in HBS, GITAM. Detailed case studies and a contemporary curriculum at HBS would really help in analysing practical problems in one’s career as well as in personal life.
At HBS the curriculum is promptly updated in pace with updates from industry. Lemon scope Pedagogy, simulation programs, thoughtful ideas from industry experts and lectures from well qualified teachers during my graduation at HBS-GITAM helped me to step into a bright future as a consultant in Management consulting industry. More than academic curriculum the class room-industry interface helped to understand better business happenings around the world. Last but not least, establishing connect between University – student – employee – Organizations followed by HBS has helped many students and in future it will also create a bright future for young managers at HBS.
My experience with HBS was really good. I was associated with HBS from 2013 to 2015. The best thing about HBS was the different sessions and guest lecturers which were conducted in the campus. Also the support provided by the faculty was very helpful. The career placement program conducted by the HBS helped me a lot by backing a good job. Overall, the learning experience in this institution was very helpful in my professional career.
HBS has been a delightful journey of learning with inspiring faculty and wonderful friends. The two year extensive program nurtured our first steps in the professional career, and its blended approach towards enriching the knowledge through case studies, guest lectures, workshops, seminars and projects made the learning experience holistic and fun filled. I am grateful to HBS and my mentors for enabling me to thrive at work and life.
I may not able to justify my experience in few lines. However, speaking of HBS, I still reminded of an incident when I got an opportunity from Indian Society of Training and Development (ISTD) to present my project, named Activation of Coca Cola outlets in Heritage India. Then, suddenly it hit me that I would miss my internal exams if I had to attend that. Frankly, I did not want to miss an opportunity like that. So I walked into the dean’s cabin and expressed my concern. To my surprise, he and the other faculty members rescheduled those exams. It was definitely a tough call then as HBS was not autonomous till 2013. Apart from good friends and great industry exposure, it is the encouragement at personal level that motivated me to achieve an award for the presentation. Well, that’s my B-School!
